While our physical doors have been closed, there has been plenty of work still to do around The ArQuives. We are happy to welcome Nathan Hoo (he/him) to the Board of Directors. Nathan will be starting on February 8, 2021, and we are thrilled to have him join the team.
Nathan Hoo (he/him)
Nathan is a longtime advocate for LGBTQ2+ rights. He has worked with a number of LGBTQ+ organizations, providing workshops and resources to help combat homophobia and transphobia since he was a teenager (which he swears was a long time ago).
Nathan represents a union in labour disputes before private arbitrators and administrative tribunals across the country in both French and English. He holds a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Integrated Media from OCAD University and a Juris Doctor from the French Common Law Program at the University of Ottawa.
Outside of work, Nathan can often be spotted riding his bicycle or tinkering with media equipment.
