We are so grateful for the contributions we receive to support our mission of Keeping Our Stories Alive. Thank you for your generosity. Please consider an end of year donation to The ArQuives. All donations received by December 31, 2016 can be used on your 2016 taxes. It is an exciting time here at the Archives! These are just a few of our recent projects:
- Our Digitization Committee is moving part of our collections to digital formats, thus preserving the originals and helping us to move into the future.
- We have initiated a Diversity and Inclusivity Committee to help us better represent all portions of our LGBTQ+ communities.
- We are bursting at the seams and have started to search for a larger and more appropriate facility to house and protect our treasured collections. While we remain at 34 Isabella we are working to restore the facility’s accessibility.
- Watch for our brand new website, to be launched in the spring.
All of these projects require financial support. Two of our staff positions are funded by grants, one from a private foundation and the other from the Ontario Trillium Foundation.
