Friday, September 25, 2015 7:00pm – 9:00pm / The ArQuives / 34 Isabella Street, Toronto Richard Plowright was a well-known photographer in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. The focus of his photography was the male nude and, in the early 1990’s, published a book titled “Himage”. Richard passed away in 1995 and a large collection of his photographs and negatives were donated to The ArQuives. This presentation by Dave Smith will go through the history of Richard’s work based upon a show that Dave was supporting Richard produce for 1995, but never happened due to Richard’s deteriorating health connected to HIV.
