A Picture of Charly WreggittCharly Wreggitt is currently serving as the archives assistant for the summer of 2017. She is going into her second year of a Masters of Information degree at the University of Toronto with a collaborative degree in Sexual Diversity Studies. She holds a BA from the University of Manitoba and a MA from McMaster University, both within the field of Gender and Feminist Studies. Her research interests include queer theory, histories of sexuality and sex, and zombies. At The ArQuives, she will be working with two fonds for the summer, arranging and describing them in a RAD compliant format. The first is the Gays of Ottawa fonds, ranging from 1971-1995. She will then work with the Michael Lynch fonds, containing records between 1941-1999. Nearing the end of the summer she will be adding the collections worked on, as well as an additional 7-10 finding aids, to The ArQuives’s database and to ARCHEION. Her position will help The ArQuives work towards their goal of making their records readily available to the public. If you wish to get in touch with Charly you can email her at archivesassistant@arquives.ca.
