Hudler and Raj Celebrated at Exhibit Opening On Friday, May 3, 2013, the Canadian Lesbian & Gay Archives (The ArQuives) welcomed guests to the opening of The Practice of Everyday Freedom: Richard Hudler and Rupert Raj, a new exhibit at The ArQuives on the lives and accomplishments of activists Richard Hudler and Rupert Raj. The event also celebrated Hudler and Raj’s induction into the National Portrait Collection. Newly commissioned portraits of the inductees by Maya Suess and Matthew Tarini are on display at the exhibit, which runs until June 5, 2013. Over 100 guests came out to Friday’s reception.
